I'm Alex, a product designer. I like making complex software easier to understand and use, and being involved in how it gets delivered.

How I work

I untangle data-heavy workflows and shape interactions around what people need to do.

I connect customer problems with practical priorities, working with developers and stakeholders through delivery.

My development background helps me work within technical constraints and design consistent interfaces and systems.

At Tidy, I work across product design, priorities and delivery for business software. Alongside that, I build and run Jobio, my independent job-application product. My background also includes Cyncly (formerly SoftTech) and Koda Web.

Outside work

Flying FPV drones is pure fun for me. I'm still learning: trying to fly a little smoother, take a tighter turn or find a new line through the trees.

I also play music with friends, experimenting with time signatures and chord progressions. I enjoy travelling, meeting people and exploring new places. Gym sessions, hiking and running keep me active.
